Parallel Arcs

Parallel Arc creates both or single side parallel polylines, with conventional rounded ends or square ends. The single side is determined by left, right; North, South, East or West.

The source table is either selection or the table nominated as . Valid input objects are MapInfo lines, polylines and arcs.

     Parallel Arc Examples

 

Set  input as table or selection.
 Set the parallel arc offset distance and units.

 Set direction qualifier and square end condition.

Output is created in table _geoSQLtmp

 

 The best result for polylines is achieved by combining connected polylines as a single object first

1. IE 5 not supported.
2. sp_relationships.htm generated by MS Visio and produces javascript errors in non-IE browsers.
